I wonder what would happen if the people who walk into stores and steal under $1000 started walking into politicians homes and started taking things under $1000.
Things will begin to change ONLY when said politicians and their wealthy supporters are burgled and assaulted. What happens to the peasants is normally of no concern to the rulers.
Remember, they have security.
