Thank you Erin for this review. Don’t be overly pessimistic about the lack of vocational classes in our high schools. Schools are realizing the “everyone needs to go to college,” mantra not only proved to be a detriment to the country but also to individuals that wasted years & money going to college when good paying trades jobs went unfilled.

Mike Rowe is a cherished leader in the field of Common Sense!

Mike Rowe is actually putting himself out there to make a change. I hope the schools will do the same.

If Stevenson High School realizes the importance of vocational training you can rest assured that other "gotta go to college" high schools recognize the same fact. Most community colleges also offer vocational education classes. The College of Lake County, in Grayslake has a robust program and is expanding, with the assistance of local businesses like Abbvie.

I was wondering what Mike was up to. Thanks for the heads up. I may not be able to get to a theatre, but I’m sure it’ll pop up someplace to be able to see it.

And yes, it’s disgusting how all of a sudden Christoper Columbus is such an awful person. And in the same vein, it’ll always be LAKE SHORE DRIVE and CONGRESS PARKWAY. You can keep the other PC stuff.

Hopefully, we are starting to turn the page on PC crap. I guess we'll find out in November.

I’m grateful that you’re sharing the good news about Mike’s film. Regarding “…ways to earn a living without a college degree.”In Springfield,IL the Roman Catholic Archdiocese is asking permission from the state of Illinois to open San Damiano College for the Trades. I hope they progress in this endeavor. Also, in the Catholic News Agency article dated February 16,2024 by Peter Pinedo, St. Peter Catholic High School in Galveston,TX is open with about ten students in its new trade school. Thank you, Erin.

This is fantastic news! Downstate understands more about progress than Chicago.

Returning from a cruise around Great Britain those folks are proud of there heritage an history,

Chilly, instead of buying another ball cap I picked up beret complete with a badge of the royal navy.

Everywhere I wore an it kept ME head warm a folks acknowledged. When queried of course I told them the truth a necessity purchase from a surplus store in Canterbury.

Tragically in this country ignorant naive people are trying to destroy our heritage! Woke is joke!

But fortunately it is on us?

Woke is joke! I commend those brave enough to put themselves in the fray to show what makes our country so great. American youth need to live abroad not for a fun semester in college but for a year as an exchange student to learn more about the world. Then they will see America is not to be hated.
