When this city was mostly white under Richard J. Daley, the first, and elections were stolen routinely, nobody cared except a few real GOPers that were left in Chicago. RJD, the first, won by massive landslides. Nobody really complained. At least not the white folks. Now that minorities run city and county govt. the lily white denizens left in the city are wringing their hands and scream: the sky is falling, the sky is falling. Hypocrites! Face it: the Micks/Harps/Shanty Irish no longer are in power. Don't like it? Move!
1. Any immigrant, legal or illegal will have to become a citizen to vote. That's 7 years waiting.
2. We are a nation of immigrants. Our forefathers stole it from the original 'citizens' of this country. Our forefathers called them 'savages'.Then we slaughtered them, gave them alcohol and made them addicted drunks and put them on worthless land. If the land became worthwhile later we again stole it from them and moved them elsewhere.
3. My maternal grandparents came here with nothing, including education or skills. No one stopped them from entering. US needed cheap labor. They sent their 4 kids to university/college during the depression selling illegal alcohol during prohibition WHICH THEY BOUGHT FROM THE LOCAL CHICAGO COPS.
4. The vast majority of these illegals are innocents wanting a better life. Vast majority will be hard working if given a chance. Look at who does landscaping, construction, tree removal, paving, nursing homes, and most dangerous jobs. BIG BUSINESS (MOSTLY GOPer OWNED) WANTS THESE ILLEGALSFOR CHEAP LABOR! Send the owners of business straight to jail for using illegals and see what happens. But no our pols, Dems and GOP cater to the rich.
5. My mother's 2 day care workers were from Columbia. They had to come here becuz their parents were middle class earning decent income. The gangs kidnapped the 1st born child and executed them if parents didn't pay ransom in 24hr. Then they kidnapped the 2nd, and on and on.
6. We whites/Caucasians are a minority. Get use to it. It ain't gonna change.By bitching about it makes you sound racist. You make it sound like all illegals will vote Dem. Polls show Hispanics favor Trump. Why not Dems?
7. I'm in Lake County, il now. When i moved here before it became Dem the GOP routinely stole elections here. It is not a Dem thing exclusively.
