Democrats: The Party of Humanity?

Shut up, Howard.

Greetings!  I had a great Mother’s Day weekend. I’m looking forward to our daughter’s graduation. Spring is in the air. We are actually seeing sunlight and warm temperatures. Everyone is relatively healthy for their ages. Great, great family and friends. A really cute dog. And I am able to write freely—for now.

And yet…I’m pissed. Sorry for those with sensitive hearing. But that’s the best word to describe how I feel. Disappointed won’t do. Sad is mundane. Angry doesn’t cut it. So, I’m left with pissed.

This weekend I read about former screamer Howard Dean describing the Democratic Party as the party of optimism. He said on MSNBC: “The Republicans are pessimistic. The Republicans don’t have values that are encouraging to humanity. They don’t believe humanity is any good…. We are the party of hope. They are the party of fear, of anger, and frankly, they are the party of pessimism. They, frankly, believe that there is no future for human beings, and they are creating an America or trying to, where there is no future for the United States of America. I think they are going to lose because of that.” Howard Dean doesn’t make me angry. He’s a blip on the screen (or scream) of history. What makes me angry is how Democrats and media contort the truth in order to garner votes. Or as my uncle used to say, “What the Democrats accuse you of is really what they are doing.”

We are watching, in real time, the destruction of our country and its values by the Democratic Party not by the Republicans. Those who are pulling the strings of Biden (Obama and Soros) are trying to finish what they started during Obama’s reign. In Obama’s inaugural speech he used the line, ”Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and begin again the work of remaking America.” And he did begin. He became the most divisive president in history, and he used executive orders like Pez dispensers. Now we have Biden picking up where Obama left off but on warp speed.

Democrats used to hide their radical agendas. They couldn’t tell a conservative electorate what they really planned on doing or who they really were. In the past, that would have been unelectable. Hell, I remember a time when a candidate having an affair or being divorced was a non-starter. Today, Democrat “values” are on full display for all to see. They have their communist “Squad,” they use Antifa and BLM to cause terror in cities, the media is in their back pocket, and they lied about a sitting president, kept him in impeachment zone for four years, and then they stole an election. Now we have a leaker of a DRAFT of a Supreme Court ruling that could turn the issue of Roe v Wade back to the states. Let me repeat: It will turn the issue of abortion back to the states in order to be voted on by the people, as it should have been done from the start. Isn’t it interesting that we don’t know who the leaker is yet? We do have an FBI, right? One would think his/her fame would have gotten a gig on 60 Minutes or the cover of Vanity Fair by now.

We are getting toward the all important election time, which means we need to sic’ the dogs on the American people—and it’s not even October. Never in American history have vitriolic mobs been able to descend on the houses of Supreme Court justices. Whether you agree or disagree with what could potentially rid our federal protection of Roe v Wade, you must agree that mobs trying to intimidate judges to change their rulings is abhorrent. It’s against federal law, and all should have been arrested. But not a peep from the Administration all weekend. Why? Was Joe in his basement in Delaware? Do they take weekends off? Did something need to be repainted on the fake Oval Office set created for Joe? Nope. They just like the chaos.

And we have had nothing but chaos since this Administration started. Inflation, illegal immigration, fentanyl, stock market plummets, high gas prices, food shortages—including baby formula, censorship, Covid being bantered about again, ever present climate change fear, abortion, and a supposed war in the Ukraine, to name a few.

Supposed war, you say. Yes. Something is rotten in Ukraine. Too many dignitaries able to locate a bunkered down president whose life may supposedly be taken any minute from Putin. My god, even Bono was there to sing a few tunes to the people of Ukraine. Then there’s the money thing. There’s way too much money flowing from the U.S. to Ukraine. For the billions we have poured into that little country, we should own it by now.

Wait. Do you hear that? Listen. Crickets. Nothing comes out of the mouths of those in charge. They are letting everything burn. This is not ineptitude. This is by design. So, Howard, exactly how are the Democrats the party of “values that are encouraging humanity?” How are Republicans “the party of fear, anger, and…pessimism?” We didn’t start the fire. Our blue states kept kids locked down for two years and shockingly they are behind in math, so much so that some are saying this will reverberate into their college years. Our blue cities have Soros paid DAs that release criminals like revolving doors. Our blue politicians called for the defunding of police. And because of that we have crime waves like we’ve never seen. Is this your idea of humanity?

Here in Chicago our mayor has been ineffective—to put it kindly. Does she care about those getting gunned down in broad daylight? Is she worried about the smash and grabs? Is she appalled by the carjackings often perpetrated by minors? Is she concerned about elderly getting beaten up at train stations? That would be humane. Instead, here’s Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot’s humanity and optimism:

She also wants Chicago to be an abortion paradise. Just visualize that for a minute. And our debt is so bad that we need to go back to the days of Al Capone and have a Bally’s casino built. Poor Lori has nothing else to run on but fear, as per her tweet. You know like AOC’s use of climate change.

Humanity’s very definition, to me, is one of optimism. Children are the greatest sign of optimism and hope. When their little fingers wrap around one of yours, it is a feeling no one can describe, and there is nothing like the sound of a child laughing. The hope they bring is for a brighter future. Our job as adults is to maintain their innocence and happiness for as long as we can before the real world starts entering. We used to be able to do that. Now we are adding CRT, white privilege, and gender studies into elementary schools where kids should be enjoying Clifford, the Big Red Dog. And child-friendly companies like Disney have become the antithesis of child friendly. These aren’t Republican values, Howard.

Democrats believe in government control over every aspect of your life. And they use fear to do it. Covid lockdowns and mandates are on the horizon again. These are communist tactics. The people under totalitarian rule don’t look like they are living fulfilling lives. In China and North Korea, they force abortions on women. There is no “my body, my choice” mantra. And I don’t think even Kim Kardashian can make this outfit sexy:

We have some bad apples in the Republican Party, too, there is no doubt. Sometimes we elect RINOs. Or they just keep quiet. Politics has become a zero-sum game. But I will go with the party of proven true, conservative values every time. And it ain’t the Democrats. When a party cannot debate issues because they know their ideas are so ultra-liberal they can’t sway an electorate and need to resort to rioting, there’s a problem. Sorry, Howard. You may have to hire more that 2000 mules to win. And if it happens again, my friends, we really are done. That is not fear. That is reality.
